Waterflow
While visually distinct, Waterflow came directly as a response to Yonder. In Yonder the flow lines and water colour was completely separated into two layers and did not interact in any way (they drew from the same underlying flow, though). In Waterflow I asked: What if they were one and the same?
To me, imitating analogue effects such as water colouring are most interesting when it allows me to do something that the inspiration is incapable of. This is what I explored here, as I allowed the same blob of colour to effortly move between exact, precise flow lines and messy water-colour-esque splashes of paint.
I was nearing the end of my flowline journey and new exiting things were pulling in me. Although Folding Flow was still ahead of me, Waterflow in some ways felt like the closer on this chapter
